1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Stelo Design. By purchasing services from Stelo Design, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services
Stelo Design provides website design, branding, print design and website management services. Services are provided subject to availability and may change over time.
3. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotations may change if project requirements or scope changes after a quotation has been issued.
4. Deposits & Payments
Projects with a total value of £500 or less do not require an upfront deposit. Payment is only due once the project has been completed, approved and is ready for delivery or launch.
Projects with a total value exceeding £500 require a deposit before work begins. Deposits secure project availability and cover administration, planning and work already undertaken.
An invoice for the full project amount will be issued at the time of booking. Any required deposit must be paid before work begins, with the remaining balance becoming payable once the project has been completed and approved. Final files, website launches and ownership transfers will not take place until all outstanding balances have been paid.
Printing & Design invoices are generated before work begins. Payment is required once artwork has been approved and before any print items are ordered.
Payments can be made securely online via supported payment methods, including card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pay by Bank. Bank transfer is also available where preferred. Failure to make payments may result in delays, suspension of work or cancellation of services.
Managed Website Payments
The Managed Website service is available from £45 per month.
There is no minimum contract term, and clients may cancel the service at any time by providing written notice.
Monthly payments are billed in advance and must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice.
Stelo Design reserves the right to suspend hosting, maintenance, support services and website access where payments become overdue. Services may be restored once outstanding balances have been paid.
Failure to maintain payments may result in suspension of hosting, website access, support services and maintenance.
Overdue Managed Website Payments
Monthly payments must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice.
Where payment remains outstanding for 14 days after the due date, Stelo Design reserves the right to suspend the Managed Website service, including hosting, website access, maintenance, updates and support, until all outstanding amounts have been paid.
Where payment remains outstanding for 21 days after the due date, Stelo Design reserves the right to terminate the Managed Website service and take the website offline permanently.
Suspension or termination of the Managed Website service does not cancel any amounts which became due before suspension or termination. Any outstanding invoices for services already provided will remain due and payable.
Stelo Design reserves the right to pursue outstanding amounts through appropriate debt recovery procedures where necessary.
5. Revisions
Unlimited revisions apply to reasonable amendments made during the project approval stage.
Unlimited revisions do not include complete redesigns, significant changes in project scope or entirely new concepts once work has begun.
Stelo Design reserves the right to define what constitutes reasonable amendments under the unlimited revisions policy.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for supplying content, images, logos, approvals and feedback in a timely manner, unless agreed otherwise.
Clients are also responsible for ensuring any supplied content is accurate and that they have permission to use any third-party assets.
Delays in communication may impact project timelines.
If a client becomes unresponsive for 30 consecutive days, Stelo Design reserves the right to pause or close the project. Reactivation of paused projects may be subject to availability.
7. Project Timelines
Estimated project timelines are provided as guidance only and may change depending on project complexity, revisions requested or delays in receiving required content.
8. Website Ownership
Clients purchasing Starter Website or Business Website packages will receive full ownership of their website upon receipt of final payment.
Managed Website websites remain under the ownership and management of Stelo Design during the first 6 months of the subscription.
Clients may cancel their Managed Website subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future monthly renewals but does not cancel invoices or charges which became due before the cancellation date.
If a client wishes to retain ownership of their website after cancelling within the first 6 months, a £200 website ownership transfer fee will apply.
After 6 consecutive months of active Managed Website service, ownership of the website may be transferred to the client free of charge upon cancellation of the service and upon written request, provided all outstanding invoices have been paid.
Domain names purchased or registered by Stelo Design as part of a Managed Website service may be registered and managed through Stelo Design's accounts for the duration of the service.
Where ownership of a Managed Website is transferred to the client in accordance with these Terms, any eligible domain registered specifically for that website may also be transferred to the client, subject to any applicable registrar requirements, transfer restrictions and outstanding balances being paid.
Stelo Design reserves the right to retain administrative access to websites hosted or managed by Stelo Design for the purpose of providing support, maintenance and security services.
9. Managed Website Service
Managed Website is a subscription-based service available from £45 per month.
The service includes website design, website hosting, domain management, website maintenance, content updates and general support.
There is no minimum contract term, and clients may cancel the service at any time by providing written notice.
Reasonable content amendments are included under a fair usage policy and include text amendments, image replacements, testimonial updates and service changes. Significant redesigns, additional pages or custom functionality are not included.
Significant redesigns, additional pages, custom functionality, e-commerce features or substantial development work may require a separate quotation.
Any outstanding invoices must be settled before website ownership, website files or website transfers are completed.
Where a client cancels within the first 6 months and requests ownership of the website, the applicable £200 website ownership transfer fee must be paid before ownership or website files are transferred.

10. Website Care
Website Care is an optional ongoing service available to Website Basic and Website Business clients.
Website Care is available from £29 per month and includes website hosting, domain renewals, website maintenance, content updates and general support.
Website Care is provided under a fair usage policy. Significant redesigns, additional pages, custom functionality or substantial development work may require a separate quotation.
Website Care renews automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled in writing at least 3 days before the next billing date.
11. Print Services
Print prices may vary depending on quantities and specifications selected. Colours may vary slightly between screens and printed products.
Design work may begin before payment is received; however, no print products will be ordered until artwork has been approved and payment has been received in full.
Free UK delivery is included where stated.
12. Third-Party Platforms
Stelo Design relies on third-party platforms to deliver its services, including Wix, domain providers, email providers, payment providers, printing suppliers and advertising platforms where applicable.
Stelo Design cannot be held responsible for outages, interruptions, price changes or issues originating from these third-party providers.
13. Liability
Stelo Design will take reasonable care when providing services but cannot be held liable for losses resulting from third-party platform outages, hosting issues or inaccuracies in client-supplied information.
14. Intellectual Property
All designs, branding assets, websites and creative work remain the property of Stelo Design until full payment has been received.
Once payment has been received in full, ownership of the final approved deliverables will transfer to the client unless otherwise agreed.
For Managed Website services, ownership transfer provisions outlined within Section 8 shall apply.
15. Changes To These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
Stelo Design may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Where changes materially affect an existing ongoing service, clients will be given reasonable notice of the changes. Changes will not retrospectively alter payment obligations or other rights and obligations which arose before the updated terms took effect.
